The conversation became animated as old stories from long ago surfaced. Eliana began to feel a bond growing between her, Fin and Caelian. The more she learned about them through the stories, the more her fondness grew.

“This story is legendary in status,” Fin began as he told his avid listeners about the time Caelian fought what he thought was a mighty bear-like creature that turned out to be a field mouse changeling who was testing his skills to join the king’s warriors.
